Round 1 was an Italian bread recipe that for some reason stated that the bread needed 1/3 cup of yeast. This made the bread smell like alcohol, rise to an abnormal size, and taste terribly!
Thankfully, round 2 was better. We tried an Italian and a French bread recipe. The Italian (the smaller, circular buns) tasted spectacular! The French bread was good, but a little hard when we took it out. Even so, they were both an improvement on our first attempt!
